When you make an appointment with one of our three offices, you can be assured you are receiving quality hearing health care from our staff of highly educated audiologists.  Our audiologists have 20+ years experience assessing, identifying, and managing hearing impairments in patients of all ages.  We will work with you to determine the best solution to your hearing problems.  We select, fit, and dispense hearing aids and assistive devices from a variety of manufacturers.  We provide counseling and education about hearing, hearing loss prevention, and communication strategies.  We offer custom made earpieces for noise reduction, ear buds for your iPod and cell phones, pilot’s headsets, swim plugs, and musician ear plugs.

Audiologists must hold a master’s or doctoral degree from an accredited university.  They must also complete a full time fellowship, pass a demanding comprehensive exam, and must hold a state license.  Audiologists belong to several national organizations which are guided by a Code of Ethics.  By virtue of their graduate education, professional certification and licensure, audiologists are the most qualified professionals to assess and treat individuals with hearing impairments.

Impact of Hearing Loss:

Research has shown that hearing loss can interfere with your quality of life, cause you to withdraw from interacting with others, cause misunderstandings, frustration, and fatigue.  People with hearing loss can suffer depression and a decline in overall health.  Most people hesitate to act when it comes to treating a hearing loss.  Hearing loss is typically gradual and takes years to develop.  It can be a part of the natural aging process.  As a result, many people will deny that they even have a hearing loss or admit they are getting older.  Family members are usually the ones to notice the hearing loss first.
